Sholpan Jacob was born and raised in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan used to be part of the former Soviet Union. At the age of 8 she was selected to attend Music Boarding School in Almaty. After graduating from the music school, as a classically trained pianist, Sholpan attended music teaching university and graduated with bachelor's degree.After the collapse of the USSR she came to the United States in 1998.
Sholpan always had a passion for real estate.Even before she came to the USA she had an opportunity to do real estate in Kazakhstan. After the Soviet Union fell apart Kazakhstan opened its border to foreign business. Sholpan and her twin sister Aiman Stuckart , who is a successful real estate agent for Long Foster in Georgetown, saw the opportunity to rent apartments and sublet them to foreign business companies.
After she came to the USA she attended Norwalk Community College to study English. She speaks fluently in three languages: Kazakh her native language, Russian and English.
Sholpan is not afraid of hard work and loves helping people. Sholpan was anactive member of the PTA at her son's elementary, middle and high schools. She was also highly involved with her son's swimming career and participated in fundraising for her son to swim for Swim Across America. Sholpan has always been active, she worked in fashion industry ; Saks Fifth Avenue, The Worth Collection Ltd, taught Russian at Berlitz Corporation and Kazakh at Yale University.
Sholpan became a real estate agent because she loves working with people, and real estate is definitely a people profession. She wants to help families find their dream homes. As a realtor, her first priority is to make her clients happy. She strives to ensure that the buying or selling process is fun, and stress-free.
